Assistant Manager - Case Management

Job Purpose

TheAssistant Manager - Case Management will be responsible for implementing acollaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation and advocacy foroptions and services to meet the health needs of NHIMA insured members throughcommunication and available resources to promote quality cost-effective healthoutcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Approve all pre-authorizations within NHIMA medicalinsurance policy rules.

§    §  §  §  §  §  §  Assistthe NHIMA clients in the safe transitioning of care to the next mostappropriate level. 

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

     Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Clinicalmedicine, or Public Health 

Competencies required for this Role

Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Clinicalmedicine, or Public Health 

              Applied experience in Health Insurance casemanagement or health care financing will be an added advantage.
